The 2nd of July 2022 marked a significant and opportune time for the Phenomenal Young Persons as they partnered with BLWSA Zone A and the Volunteer Medical Corp Southern Africa region under the leadership of Dr Masha to respond to the then Durban flood hit communities. The team drove for 12 hours to and fro to go lend a helping hand and offer free medical services and the screening to the locals. The team also brought acute medication which was given as indicated in the form of oral or topical applications. Clothing and sanitary pads were also distributed to the community. The team also spent some quality time praying and preaching the Word of God to the attendees young and old. And over 100 lives were impacted some of which needed specialist referral which they were given for further medical work up and care.
